A DE ANGELIS COUNTERWEIGHT PLATFORM FOR GRÚAS NORTE

The platform offers a load capacity of 83.5tn and a total length of 12.4m.

We are pleased to announce the recent delivery of a De Angelis counterweight platform model 5S835 to Grúas Norte, a leading company in the crane and machinery transport sector in Galicia and the north of the Iberian Peninsula. This acquisition reinforces Grúas Norte's commitment to innovation and efficiency in its operations.
 
Outstanding features of the De Angelis 5S835 platform:
 
  • Load capacity: 83,500 kg
  • Payload: 71,500 kg
  • Approximate tare weight: 12,000 kg
  • Dimensions: Length 12,400 mm, width 2,540 mm and height 1,530 mm
  • Axles: 5 ROR brand axles with a capacity of 12 tons per axle:
    • 1st self-steering and elevating (with counter-rotation to the last 3 for perfect maneuvering)
    • 2nd fixed and elevating
    • 3rd, 4th and 5th hydraulic directional
  • Turning control: Turning of the last 3 axles via radio
  • Tires: 445/65 R 22.5 148/145M
  • Air suspension: ROR brand with double leveling valve
  • Disc brakes: With EBS-E anti-lock system 4S/3M WABCO and latest generation R.S.S. anti-roll system
  • Chassis: High-strength tubular steel frame profile with wooden surface
  • Lashing rings: 8 tonnes each, built into the loading surface
  • Electrical system: 24 volts with newly designed rear lights and increased visibility, including side marker lights, brakes, reverse, fog and turn signals, as well as front and side LED lights
