ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS IN FASSI CRANES. THE FUTURE IS HERE
Fassi Gru Fassi Gru wants to offer the market a complete range of solutions for electric traction vehicles: at Bauma we will see the first fully electric truck + crane.
In 2021 Fassi presented SHT (Smart Hybrid Technology), the hybrid system that consists in using the crane with the truck's engine switched off, through an electrohydraulic system powered by a group of lithium batteries. The batteries have an autonomy equivalent to 80% of the daily demand and are recharged through the moving truck engine. This solution is available for cranes up to 40 tn
Moving forward with the idea of expanding solutions with zero emissions and silent, more sustainable and respectful of the environment, this year's novelty is the presentation of the Plug-In system, very much used in the automotive sector, which consists of a Three-phase power supply unit integrated in the mounting that allows the crane working connected to the electrical network.
And the next step that Fassi is working on to underline the “full electric” operational potential, we will see this fall at BAUMA show (Munich), where Fassi will present the first fully electric vehicle both in terms of traction and crane. Coinciding with the launch of the new range of fully electric Volvo trucks, we will be able to see a Volvo FE truck with a Fassi F195A.1 crane.
